Manaslu Tea House Trekking is a newly open trekking route in Nepal. Manaslu is known for its natural beauty & mixed culture of Tibetan and Nepalese people. It lies in the Gorkha district and is known for the emerging trekking area of Nepal. Trekkers can witness the stunning Mountain View of  Manaslu (the world’s eighth-highest mountain) with the famous Larke La pass (5160m). Trekkers will enjoy the culture as well as natural biodiversity in this Manaslu trekking route.

Moreover, you can enjoy terrace farming, dense forest, and varied landscapes throughout the trek. Different flora and fauna are another attraction of this trek. This trek is getting popular day by day as an optional trek to the Annapurna region as an outstanding Himalayan trekking route. As we have been running a trekking business in Nepal for 20 years, after a long study and research; we have decided to design this itinerary which is completely different than others in the Himalayas of Nepal. with Nepal Dream Path Treks and expeditions this trek ends in Syange and drives back to Kathmandu.

Short Itinerary


Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu [1,300m] & transfer to respective hotels.
Day 02: Sightseeing around world heritage sites in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Gorkha[1060m] [6-7hrs drive].
Day 04: Drive to Ranglung Khola [4-5 hrs drive].
Day 05: Trek to Barpak[1915m][3-4 hrs walk].
Day 06: Trek to Singla[2150m][7-8 hrs walk].
Day 07: Trek to Khorla Beshi[970m] [4-5hrs].
Day 08: Trek to Jagat [1,350m] [6 hrs walk].
Day 09: Trek to Deng [1,775m] [7-8 hrs walk].
Day 10: Trek to Ghap [2,156m] via Bih [7 hrs walk].
Day 11: Trek to Lho [3,150m] [6 hrs walk].
Day 12: Trek to Sama Gompa [3,500m] [5 hrs walk].
Day 13: Rest day at Sama Gompa.
Day 14: Trek to Samdu [3,780m] [5 hrs walk].
Day 15: Trek to Dharma Sala/ Larke Fedi [4,450m] [4 hrs walk].
Day 16: Cross Larke la pass [5,160m] and trek to Bhimtang [8 hrs walk].
Day 17: Trek to Kharche [2,700m] [4 hrs walk].
Day 18: Trek to Dharapani village [1,943m] [5 hrs walk].
Day 19: Trek to Syange [1,410m] [5 hrs walk].
Day 20: Drive back to Kathmandu via Beshishar.
Day 21: Free day in Kathmandu guided tour on request.
Day 22: Transfer to the airport for International Departure.

Detail Itinerary

6 hrs drive All breakfast, lunch, dinner Tea House

Our journey starts after having breakfast heading towards Gorkha by private transport. We cross Kathmandu valley and follow along the Trishuli river. We can observe beautiful landscapes, and streams and follow the river edge of Darundi Khola. We can observe the historical monuments of the Shah dynasty kingdom in Gorkha district and the panoramic view of snow-peaked mountains and the sunset also. Overnight stay at tea house there.


4-5 hrs drive All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

In the morning time, we hike towards the holy place of Gorakhnath. On the way to Gorakhnath, we can see the sunrise also and meet with local people to interact there. After having lunch at Gorkha, we drive towards Ranglung Khola along Darundi Khola. Almost 5 hours drive we reach Ranglung Khola and stay at the tea house for the night.

We start our hike after having breakfast, we cross the Ranglung Khola and ascend to the charming village of Barpak where we can get a warm welcome with the cultural program by the beautiful people in the early evening. It is the second holy place in Nepal. From here we can observe Bouddha Himal and its surrounding. Bouddha Himal makes sunrise and sunset more wonderful-able.  Overnight stay there.


7-8 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House

After early breakfast, we hike towards Singla via Larpak. The trail ascends with the narrow stone path which is quite difficult. After 3 hours walk, we reach a pass named Gupsi Danda, the separation area of Barpal and Larpak. From here we can see the breathtaking and beautiful panoramic view of different mountains like Siringi Himal, Buddha Himal, Langtang Range, Ganesh Himal, and so on. the trail continuous descends towards the Gurung village called Larpak where we can see the grazing sheep at grassy hills and pass the beautiful rhododendron forest. After Larpak we descend towards the river and cross it and climb up with the view of the little paddy field. The trail is narrow and a little bit visible up to reach Singla village. We stay overnight there.

On this day the trek is quite easy rather than the previous day's trek. The trek starts with the panoramic view of Siringi Himal and Kutung Himal along through beautiful terrace land and papaya trees. We reach the small Gurung village named Khorla and through here, the trail ascends towards Khorla Benshi lies on the riverbank of Budhi Gandaki River which is narrow and windy. When we reach there, local people greet us and overnight stay there.

After crossing the suspension bridge in Budhi Gandaki River, we head towards Tatopani village along the river edge and climb through the beautiful terrace land, and tobacco fields. The trek continues goes up to the natural hot spring where we can take bath for refreshment. Then we cross the wooden suspension bridge and hike towards Dobhan.  After Dobhan we cross the long suspension bridge into Budhi Gandaki River, we ascend towards our destiny, the beautiful village of Jagat where we get a warm welcome by the tea house and overnight stay.


7-8 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House

The trek starts after checking the permits by the authorized person of Annapurna Conservative Area. The trial continues to the north where we pass through small charming villages, the forest of tall pine trees and bamboo as well.  We can also have a great opportunity to witness the eagles and --their habitat and wonderful waterfalls also. The trek ends up to 7-8 hours when we reach Deng where we overnight stay.

After having breakfast we start our trial. The trail continues north following the river edge of Budhi Gandaki. We climb sometimes up and sometimes down passes through beautiful forests, wonderful views of waterfalls and reach the small delightful village called Rana. We continue our trail until we reach Bihi Phedi where we take a rest and have lunch. The trail continues up and down with a narrow path with beautiful scenery. The trail ends when we cross Shringi Khola and reach the beautiful village, Ghap, where we stay tonight.

The trail starts after having breakfast at Ghap. The trail continues following Budhi Gandaki Riverbank with the dense forest of fir and rhododendron which blooms every autumn season. We came across some Tibetan Nepali people with their woodcraft houses and their farms on our trail. The trail continues till we reach Namrung, the permit checking point. After Checking our permit we continue our trail bypassing some small villages and a little bit of climb up we reach Lho, the great viewpoint of Sharing and Ganesh Himal. You can greet the local people there and rest at a tea house and overnight stay.

The trail descends a little bit and ascends again. on the trail, we can pass small Tibetan Nepali villages where we can observe Tibetan cultures and traditions. Here you can also know about the woman who has more than two husbands from the same house's brother which is common here i.e Tibetan culture. The trip to Sama Gau is heightened when we reach there because it is a large Tibetan community and have the greatest opportunity to wonder views of Mt. Manaslu and Manaslu glacier, Nadi Chuli Peal, Naike Peak, and many more.


This day is the rest day for you, especially acclimatization day. There are two options as your wish for the day hike. One is Manaslu Base Camp Trek and another one is Pung Gyan Gumba. Our guide will be flexible for your help in your choice. or you can take a rest on the day, there at Sama Gaun.

After the pleasant two-night stay at Sama Gaun, Having morning breakfast, we hike downwards to Budhi Gandaki Riveredge. On this trail, we can see a powerful large stream crashing on the rocky river bed. We can pass many Buddhist Mani Walls on this trail and climb up towards the beautiful village of  Samdu. we can stay at Samdu for the night.

The trek starts with having breakfast with more expeditions with our experienced guide. The trail gradually goes up to Dharma Sala/Larkey Fedi. We can see the panoramic view of the snow-peaked Himalayas. Sometimes the weather can be changed immediately so stay remain there or the guide's advice. When we reach Dharma Sala/Larkey Fedi we stay there for an overnight stay.

The trek starts after having breakfast and heading towards our destiny with lots of effort. On this trail, we should gradually climb up to reach Larkey La Pass and it is quite difficult to climb. So the trekkers should be physically fit and they should follow the guide's advice. When we reach the top of Larkey La Pass, we dismiss all our tiredness due to the witness of Mt. Annapurna II, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kang, Larkey Peak, Namjung Himal, Ratnachuli, and so on. after the trail descends to the Bimthang. The scenario of the trail is very nice but if there is snow it is very difficult to descend to Bimthang. We overnight stay at Bimthang.

The trek starts with descending towards Karche following Dudh Khola. We cross the trail with the dense forest of rhododendron and its flowers that blooms in the autumn season, with a great view of Mt. Manaslu and other snow-capped peaks. after 4 hour walk, we reach Karche where we stay overnight.

After having breakfast we move by following the edge of Dudh Khola. We cross the rhododendron forest and several villages on the trial. This trial is also known as the meeting point of the Annapurna circuit. We can see the Marsyandi valley below from this trial. Once we reach Dharapni Village, we check in into Teahouse and stay there for the whole night.

The trek mostly descends along the riverbank of Marysandi. We can cross this river from time to time for the trek. Mostly we walk the newly opened track to pass the trek. We overnight stay at Syange.


8 hrs drive BB Plan Hotel/Resort

Drive back to Kathmandu. After having breakfast we drive toward Beshishar by private transport. We will take lunch there, and heading back to Kathmandu, and transfer to the respected hotel.


The day is for your personal activities and for shopping at Thamel. If you need more extra trek on this day our guide is ready for your request and help you. Otherwise, you can enjoy this day as you wish.


This is the final day and we will give a great farewell to all of our clients with the best wishes for the future and transfer to the airport for your departure.
