trip Overview

Annapurna base camp trek is a famous trekking destination in Nepal. Mt. Annapurna is the 10th highest peak in the world. You can enjoy nature’s beauty by walking through rhododendron forests over the foothills of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It is rich in mountain views, wildlife, old cultures, and varieties of flora & fauna. Trekkers can witness the wonderful views of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri. Trekkers get the chance to learn about people of different ethnicities, especially Gurung people when visiting the Ghandruk museum.

Nepal Dream Path starts Annapurna Base Camp Trek with a short flight or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. After overnight in Pokhara, we will drive to Birhethanti, and from there we walk up to Tikhedhunga. After this, we will trek to Ghorepani and Poon Hill. Poon Hill is a vantage point for the view of Annapurna as well as other peaks and also for sunrise and sunset. If the trekkers want to use a different route of trekking then he/she can use the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. This trek is a good balance trip. Although it is situated at a high altitude, every trekker loves this trek. The best season to do Annapurna Base Camp Trek is spring and autumn.
