The culture of Nepal is rich and different in the world. It is a Multi-cultural, Multi-lingual and Multi-ethnic country. Different Ethnic group such as; Brahman, Chhetri, Newar, Sherpa, Tharu, Rai, Limbu, Gurung, Tamang, Magar have got their own norms, values and traditions. Here we can found more than 100 languages spoken but Nepali Is the national language of Nepal and overall this language is almost understandable by all Nepalese wherever you travel. Similarly, we can find different religious people such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Jainism and Kirat religion. Among this, the people who follow the Hindu religion are in great number Approx. 80% of Nepalese Population and Buddhism is another second popular religion in the context of Nepal. Islam is the third largest religion in terms of a population while people have also adopted Kirat and many more religion. Folk music is a popular form of music. Temples and monasteries are the most important part of Nepali architecture. They believe their own religious God. Dashain and Tihar are the Main festivals of Nepalese people. The most famous among the Himalayan people are the Sherpas because of their mountaineering skills, they are an indispensable part of mountain expeditions as the leader, guide and porter. Mostly Sherpa celebrates Losar and dumze which is the main festival among others. Losar is the New Year’s celebration according to the Tibetan calendar.
