trip Overview

Chulu West Peak Climbing is the popular trekking area of Nepal with several surrounding peaks in the Annapurna Region; located in West-North of Kathmandu and is a part of the Damodar Himalayan range. This peak can be seen from the trail of Annapurna Thorung La pass. The Chulu west expedition is one of the most challenging for both climbing and expedition and is best for those who are looking for a real adventure. It requires climbing experience with good physical fitness. It was first climbed by the Japanese expedition team in 1952 A.D.

Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition starts the journey with a 6-7 hours drive from Kathmandu to Chamje; then heads towards the Manang Valley following the upstream of Marsyangdi River above the yak grazing meadow valley. After 3 days of climbing activities with the guidance of an experienced peak climber, maps, gears, and information we head down crossing Thorang La pass (5416m) to Muktinath, it requires the skills and confidence to summit the peak.
