trip Overview

Helambu Trekking is undoubtedly one of the most famous and beautiful trekking destinations in Nepal. It is a perfect short trek near Kathmandu Valley. This trek offers a better experience of culture, tradition, mountains, and adventure. Sherpa and Tamang are dominant in this region. The people of this area are mostly engaged in farming and animal husbandry. The great Himalayan scenery at the border with Tibet and monasteries makes a trek to the region an enthralling experience.

Nepal Dream Path Treks’ journey of Helambu trekking starts from Sundarijal, the water supply place for Kathmandu. We walk through the Shivapuri National Park for this trek. While walking through the national park; we can see many wild animals like wild boar, tigers, monkeys, and leopards as well as different species of birds. After this pleasant journey from the forest, we will reach Chisapani. From Chisapani, we can see the great mountain views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Jugal Himal, and lots of snow-covered peaks. After this, we will pass some charming villages, terrace farming, and dense forests. The best thing about Helambu Trekking is the lack of crowds where you commune with nature and experience the local culture.
