Langtang Valley Trek is a pleasant trip with the adventurous and famous trekking trail through Langtang Valley. It is a short trek yet it offers you the best panoramic view and a glimpse of the untouched Langtang area. Langtang Valley trek goes from Syabru Besi (1470m) to hit Kyajin Gompa (3870m), followed by rushing rivers and lush forests. Walking around the high ridges and pastures, we can witness some of the best vistas of mountains like Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, etc. Also, many Tamang villages in our ways welcome us with their different culture, lifestyles, and authentic cuisines.
Our Langtang Valley trek begins with tours of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The journey from Syabru Besi to Langtang Valley is a ride of a rollercoaster. The trail leads through mountains, and a forest of Oak, Fir, Rhododendron, and Pine. We also climb Tserko Ri for excellent sunrise views over the Langtang ranges. Tserko Ri is also one of the best viewpoints of this trek. The National Park contains lots of wild animals such as Red Pandas, Snow Leopards, Musk Deer, Himalayan Thar, Black bears, wildcats, and Jackals. More than 200 species of birds and butterflies can be seen. From Langtang valley, the track continues to Kyangjin Gompa which is the most sacred monastery in this region.
