Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek is designed for those who want to trek Manaslu and Annapurna round in a single tour. It is popular in the Manaslu conservation area and known as one of the best trails in the world. This trek provides a beautiful scenario with a colorful mountain, ethnic group, and lifestyle.

Manaslu Annapurna Circuit Trek with Nepal Dream Path Treks & Expedition starts from Gorkha. This trek provides you with a great opportunity to visit old Monasteries and high pass Larkey La (5160m). During the trek, you can see the eighth world highest mountain in the world i.e. Mt. Manaslu (8163m) from its base camp. It also includes other snow-capped mountains such as Himalchuli, Shri ngi, Mt. Machhapuchhere, and the entire Annapurna range.

After exploring these special areas of Manaslu we will join Annapurna Circuit routes from Dharapani following the upstream Marsyangdi River. Here we get a chance to see the view of Mt. Annapurna II, III, IV, Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m), and many other snowcapped peaks. By crossing the Thorongla Pass (5416m) to Jomsom via Muktinath, we end our adventurous trip here. Trekking through this circuit, you could see different flora and fauna too.

Short Itinerary


Day 01:- Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02:- Sightseeing around world heritage sites of Kathmandu.
Day 03:- Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (730m). [7 hrs drive]
Day 04:- Trek to Maccha-Khola (930m). [5hrs walk]
Day 05:- Trek to Jagat (1350m). [6hrs walk]
Day 06:- Trek to Deng (1775m). [7-8hrs walk]
Day 07:- Trek to Ghap (2156m) via Bih. [7hrs walk]
Day 08:- Trek to Lho (3150m). [6hrs walk]
Day 09:- Trek to Sama Gaun (3500m). [5hrs walk]
Day 10:- Rest day at Sama Gompa.

Day 22:- Cross Thorong La pass (5416m) and trek to Muktinath(3800m). [7-8hrs walk]
Day 23:- Trek from Muktinath to Kagbeni via Jhong. [4-5hrs walk]
Day 24:- Trek to Jomsom (2800m). [2-3hrs walk]
Day 25:- Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, afternoon free for personal activities or free for boating at Fewa Lake.
Day 26:- Drive or fly back to Kathmandu. [5-6hrs drive or 25 minutes fly]
Day 27:- Final Departure.

Detail Itinerary

After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half-day guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest, Kathmandu is full of world heritage sites. Click here for detailed information about where to visit Kathmandu Valley.


7 hrs drive All breakfast, lunch, dinner Tea House

Our journey starts after having breakfast heading towards Soti Khola by private transport. We cross Kathmandu Valley and follow along the Trishuli River. We cross the Trishuli River through the bridge and pass along through the dense forest and the huge beautiful village of Arughat which lies at the edge of the beautiful river Budhi Gandaki. After that, we move to the west side of the Budhi Gandaki River and reach the beautiful little village of Soti Khola, the place where Soti Khola meets at Budhi Gandaki River. We stay at the Tea House of Soti Khola and overnight stay there.

The very next morning, we hike through the pass of the suspension bridge of Soti Khola. On the way, we pass through the beautiful jungle, some villages, and some coffee lands. This trek goes along the Budhi Gandaki river bank to the beautiful village of Machha Kholagaun. Machha Kholagau is the meeting area of Machha Khola and Budhi Gandaki River and is very famous for fresh fish. You can get traditional foods with fresh fish curry here as your wish at dinner. Overnight stay there.

After having breakfast we start our hike to Jagat. We walk on the bank of Budhi Gandaki River and pass the beautiful charming village of Tatopani where you can get the chance of bathing in a natural hot spring. After the continuous walk on the riverbank of Budhi Gandaki, we reach Dobhan and the trails go continue to the north until we reach Jagat, the place of stone flag street. We overnight stay there.


7-8 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House

The trek starts after checking the permits by the authorized person of Annapurna Conservative Area. The trial continues to the north where we pass through small charming villages, the forest of tall pine trees, and bamboo as well.  We can also have a great opportunity to witness the eagles and their habitat and wonderful waterfalls also. The trek ends up to 7-8 hours when we reach Deng where we overnight stay.

After having breakfast we start our trial. The trail continues north following the river edge of Budhi Gandaki. We climb sometimes up and sometimes down passes through beautiful forests, wonderful views of waterfalls and reach the small delightful village called Rana. We continue our trail until we reach Bihi Phedi where we take a rest and have lunch. The trail continues up and down with a narrow path with beautiful scenery. The trail ends when we cross Shringi Khola and reach the beautiful village, Ghap, where we stay tonight.

The trail starts after having breakfast at Ghap. The trail continues following Budhi Gandaki Riverbank with the dense forest of fir and rhododendron which blooms every autumn season. We came across some Tibetan Nepali people with their woodcraft houses and their farms on our trail. the trail continues till we reach Namrung, the permit checking point. After Checking our permit we continue our trail bypassing some small villages and after a little bit of climbing up, we reached Lho, the great viewpoint of Sharing and Ganesh Himal. You can greet the local people there and rest at the tea house and overnight stay.

The trail descends a little bit and ascends again. On the trail, we can pass small Tibetan Nepali villages where we can observe Tibetan cultures and traditions. Here you can also know about the woman who has more than two husbands from the same house's brother which is common here i.e. Tibetan culture. The trip to Sama Gau is heightened when we reach there because it is a large Tibetan community and has the greatest opportunity to wonder views of Mt. Manaslu and Manaslu glacier, Nadi Chuli Peal, Naike Peak, and many more.


This day is the rest day for you, especially acclimatization day. There are two options as your wish for the day hike. One is Manaslu Base Camp Trek and the other is Pung Gyan Gumba. Our guide will be flexible for your help in your choice. Or you can take a rest during the day, there at Sama Gaun.

After the pleasant two-night stay at Sama Gaun, Having morning breakfast, we hike downwards to Budhi Gandaki Riveredge. On this trail, we can see a powerful large stream crashing on the rocky river bed. We can pass many Buddhist Mani Walls on this trail and climb up towards the beautiful village of  Samdu. We can stay in Samdu for the night.

The trek starts with having breakfast with more expeditions with our experienced guide. The trail gradually goes up to Dharma Sala/Larkey Fedi. We can see the panoramic view of the snow-peaked Himalayas. Sometimes the weather can change immediately so stay remain there or the guide's advice. When we reach Dharma Sala/Larkey Fedi we stay there for an overnight stay.

The trek starts after having breakfast and heading towards our destiny with lots of effort. On this trail, we should gradually climb up to reach Larkey La Pass and it is quite difficult to climb. So the trekkers should be physically fit and they should follow the guide's advice. When we reach the top of Larkey La Pass, we dismiss all our tiredness due to witness Mt. Annapurna II, Himlung, Cheo Himal, Gyaji Kang, Larkey Peak, Namjung Himal, Ratnachuli, and so on. After the trail descends to the Bimthang. The scenario of the trail is very nice but if there is snow it is very difficult to descend to Bimthang. We overnight stay at Bimthang.

The trek starts with descending towards Karche following Dudh Khola. We cross the trail with the dense forest of rhododendron and its flowers that bloom in the autumn season, with a great view of Mt. Manaslu and other snow-capped peaks. After 4 hour's walk, we reach Karche where we stay overnight.

After having breakfast we move by following the edge of Dudh Khola. we cross the rhododendron forest and several villages during the trial. This trial is also known as the meeting point of the Annapurna circuit. We can see the Marsyandi Valley below from this trial. Once we reach Dharapani Village, we check in to Teahouse and stay there for the whole night.

Our trail climbs through the alpine forest to Bagarchhap, the first village on this walk with typical Tibetan architecture. After a nice morning walk altitude gains slowly reaching the apple country at Dhanaqui,  the trek passes farm areas, apple, and apricot orchards, and beautiful pine forest with views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II, trek follows the river Marsyangdi upstream passing by several villages before Chame is reached for the overnight stop. Chame is the district headquarters of the Manang region.

The trek from here follows the other side of the river on the northern bank, after leaving Chame, the path passes through pine woods and small villages with few ups and downs till you reach Bratang. From here trek continues on the gradual path up to a bridge, from the bridge, a short steep climb through the pine forest brings you to the top of the ridge of Pisang village. After walking past the tree lines a great view can be seen of Pisang Peak and the Chulu Peak with Pisang village below, from this ridge, a gentle descent for an hour brings us to the windswept village of Pisang.

From Pisang onwards, the walks lead with a constant view of the high snow-capped peaks. The walk climbs steeply up for half an hour, after a short gradual walk from the Pisang village then reaching the top with dramatic views of the valleys, Hongdre village with its short air-strip and the great peaks of Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, Tilocho, and on the right Chuli east, on the back Pisang peak. The walk from here is on the downhill and gradual path all the way to Hongdre, and to Manang, adding a slight touch of altitude as you near the village of Braga and Manang, here with time to spend the morning visiting Braga Monastery. The largest in the district, it has an outstanding display of statues, thangkas, and religious manuscripts. From here it is only an hour's walk to Manang for the overnight stop.


A rest day for acclimatization visit Manang village of about 500 flat-roofed houses, with spectacular scenery -Annapurna II, Annapurna III/7,555 m, Gangapurna/7,454 m to the South - Tilicho/7,132 m and Chulu West /6,583 m and Chulu East/6,059 m to the North and Gangapurna Glacier.

The treks lead to a gradual up for an hour, offering grand views of the Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tiloche as the trail heads up in the windswept landscapes with juniper bushes as the only surviving vegetation around this area, then reaching a small settlement Yak-Kharka for the overnight.

After Breakfast in the morning, we will continue our trek on the high hills, watching the beautiful scenery of the Mountain, and Finally, reach Yak Kharka to Thorang High Camp and Overnight stay in High Camp.

7-8 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House

After Breakfast, we walk to Thorang la pass By crossing a bridge. On the way, nature offers us incredible views of the mountain from all sides. The trek will begin a long descent to Muktinath which is a sacred spot to both Hindus and Buddhists where there are many important temples and overnight stay in Muktinath.

After having breakfast in the morning, we will move to Kagbeni from Muktinath, walking for about 4-5 hours walk. Overnight stay there.


2-3hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House

In the morning after breakfast, we will continue our journey toward Jomsom. After a 2-3 hours hike, we reach Jomsom with a great scenario.  Spending a night in Jomsom.


20m fly BB Plan Hotel/Resort

On the morning flight, we come back to Pokhara and you have free time for your personal activities on Pokhara, Lakeside. Overnight stay there.


6hrs drive/25m fly BB Plan Hotel/Resort

After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will transfer to the hotel and you get 1 and a half of leisure time in Kathmandu.


This is the final day and we will give a great farewell to all of our clients with the best wishes for the future.
