trip Overview

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a trek around the remote Manaslu Conservation Area in the Gorkha district of Nepal. The Himalayan giant Mt. Manaslu is the world’s eighth-highest and Nepal’s seventh-highest mountain. Additionally, Manaslu is renowned for its name, which translates to ‘Mountain of the Spirit,’ reflecting the peaceful villages and valleys surrounding it. This trek allows you to witness the stunning wall created by Mt. Manaslu and the surrounding mountains. Additionally, this trek offers a perfect opportunity to experience the culturally and traditionally rich, remote area of Manaslu, along with its untouched natural beauty.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition begins at Arkhet Bazaar and concludes at Nadi village. The journey leads through the ascending and descending trails, crossing the various cultural villages, dense forests, rice terraces, and paddy fields with spectacular views of Mount Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and many other snow-covered peaks. The trail follows the Buri Gandaki River before crossing the maximum altitude point of Larkey La pass, 5,125m. After crossing the adventure pass, our journey continuously goes downwards, followed by the Marsyangdi River to reach our trek ending point, Nadi village; the village is also the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. As the highest point of the trek is majestic Larkey La Pass (5,167 m), this trek is considered a physically demanding one, but it is worth it. The best seasons for this trek are from March to May and October to December.

Great Manaslu trek

2015

“We are family in the mountains” was zijn motto. Dank je wel Nepal Dream Path (Damodar)
