trip Overview

Manaslu Trek is one of the best and most adventurous treks around the Manaslu Conservation area. It lies in the northwest part of Kathmandu. Manaslu is a well-known and much-loved trekking trail in Nepal’s Himalayan landscapes. The trail will give us experience in an untouched region of Nepal. On this trek, we will enjoy the jaw-dropping view of the world’s eighth-highest mountain i.e. Mt. Manaslu. The word Manaslu comes from the Sanskrit word “Manasa” which means ‘Soul’ leading the meaning of Manaslu to “mountain of souls”. The first footprint of Manaslu was by the Japanese Expedition in 1956. After that time the Manaslu trek became more famous and still to this day it is one of the best trekking routes for Nepali culture and spectacular mountain views.

Nepal Dream Path starts the Manaslu trek with a long drive to Machha Khola. It offers great views of some of the highest mountains in the world and several magnificent waterfalls along the way. Manaslu Conservation Area has a unique environment and is exceptionally rich in biodiversity. Manaslu is a sanctuary for endangered wild animals like the Himalayan Tahr, Blue Sheep, Snow leopard, Marmot and many more. Manaslu and Ganesh Himal are the famous peaks on the trekking route with many snow-capped peaks over 6000m such as Tewa Himal, Shrimgi Himal and many other spectacular peaks as well. This trekking route is becoming more popular day by day due to its natural and cultural attractions. The magnificent views of the Annapurna range will reward you on the trek. You will also come across cultural diversities and natural scenery with high-altitude glacier lakes. This trek will end at Dharapani and back to Kathmandu with a memory of Manaslu.
