trip Overview

Mardi Himal Peak Climbing (5,580m) is an exciting Himalayan adventure located in the Annapurna region of Nepal, approximately 15 miles (25 km) north of Pokhara and northwest of Kathmandu. As one of the least-visited trekking peaks in the region, it is an excellent choice for climbers seeking a peaceful alternative to Nepal’s more crowded trekking routes.

The journey rewards you with spectacular views of some of the Himalayas’ most iconic peaks, including Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Annapurna South, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, and many other snow-capped mountains. Along the trail, you’ll also pass through lush rhododendron forests, traditional villages, flowing rivers, and beautiful terraced fields, creating a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural experience.

Mardi Himal Peak Climbing with Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition follows a scenic route through dense forests and charming mountain settlements before reaching the alpine landscapes of the Annapurna region. The trail offers breathtaking views of Mardi Himal, located east of the Modi Khola and directly across the valley from Hiunchuli.

Although Mardi Himal is considered one of Nepal’s lower trekking peaks, it provides an exciting introduction to Himalayan mountaineering and does not require extensive high-altitude climbing experience. Under the guidance of experienced climbing professionals, you will use essential mountaineering equipment such as ropes, crampons, and ice axes to safely reach the summit.

Standing on the 5,580-metre summit is a truly unforgettable experience, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan giants. After celebrating your achievement, you will descend carefully via Mardi Himal Base Camp before returning to Pokhara, taking home incredible memories of one of Nepal’s most rewarding peak-climbing adventures.
