Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan international airport in Kathmandu, you will welcome and picked up by our staff, then transfer to the hotel and help you until the check-in procedure ends. We will provide you briefing program about the entire trip including major attractions, sightseeing spots, certain rules, and regulations, etc.
As per your flight time, transfer to Tribhuwan International Airport and fly to Paro. Upon arrival at Paro airport in Bhutan, our representative from Bhutan will be there to pick up and drop you at Hotel. Take a welcome drink, have some rest and take lunch at Hotel fell free to visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong “the Fort of the heap of Jewels” which houses the Paro Monastic body, Paro District Civil Administration, and the Paro District Court. A smaller Dzong was first built sometime in the 15th century and rebuilt by the Shabdrung in 1645. It caught fire in 1905 but was immediately rebuilt to its original splendor by the Paro Penlop Dawa Penjor. Back to the hotel on the way sightseeing of Kyichu Lhakhang, built-in 638 AD under the order of the Tibetan King Songtsengampo, it is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
After early morning breakfast, 1-2 hrs drive by the scenic and smooth way. Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan is one of the best tourist cities in South Asia, which is quite narrower and Crower than Paro. Thimpu is a modern city in Bhutan still containing lots of traditional and cultural art and architecture.
Full day visit of several sites including memorable Chorten built in the memory of 3rd king of Bhutan, popular handmade paper unite, visit of handicrafts emporium etcetera. In the evening free exploration of the Thimpu market.
After breakfast, freelance walk around Thimpu city and ready to drive for Punakha. After 1 hour drive, reach the best viewpoint of Docho la from there we can see the splendid panorama of the Bhutanese mountain range. After taking Lunch on Docho La, again drive to Thimpu which takes about a 1-hour drive from there. On the way, the road crosses several forests including blue pine, blooming rhododendron [in the spring season]. After arrival in Punakha, check-in at Hotel, the evening is free to visit the local area.
After early morning breakfast, today’s journey starts with a drive to Chimi Khakhang, an en-route visit to Wangde Dzong. We can see there a beautiful temple standing all alone on a small hill overlooking the Puna Tshangchu river belt, Chimi Lhakhang is the Holy place of Lama Drukpa Kuenley, also known as Divine Mad man. The temple contains various religious and tourism potentialities thousands of people visit Chimi Lhakhang. Finally, reach Paro for an overnight stay.
Full day sightseeing tour to Paro city includes a tour to Dzong tower which was built in the 16th century, visit the national museum which is popular as the best museum in South Asia. In the evening, enjoy yourself with Bhutanese families and farmhouses.
As per the flight schedule of Kathmandu, transfer to the airport. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu; you will pick up by our staff and transfer to the hotel. A full day spends on leisure activities and if you have a plan to extend your holiday by including some extra activities in Nepal, let us know to help you.
Today as per your international flight time, keep your confirmed air ticket, and passport handy. Nepal Dream Path Treks staff will transfer you to the airport for your final departure.
