trip Overview

Rock climbing is an adventurous activity in which you will climb up or across natural rock formations or man-made rock with the usage of necessary gears and equipment. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber’s strength, endurance, and balance along with his or her mental control. Near the Kathmandu valley, there are also rock climbing places like Astrek Climbing Wall which is located inside the Kathmandu valley in Thamel, Pharping (also called Hattiban) located in the hills to the southwest of the valley, and another is Nagarjun, located on the western side of the valley. Nagarjun forest is a great area for both hiking and climbing.

It can be a dangerous sport and knowledge of proper climbing techniques and usage of specialized climbing equipment is crucial for the safe completion of routes. Nepal Dream Path Treks manages your site briefing, travel arrangement, lunch, climbing gears, and well-experienced guides.
