Short Itinerary


Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. [35 mins by car]
Day 02: Drive to Pokhara [860m] [200k.m - 5-6 hrs drive] or [25 minute flight].
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga [1,500m] [1.5 hrs drive and 4 hrs walk].
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani [2,874m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 05: Hike to Poon Hill [3,210m] back to Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani [2,721m] [4-5 hours walk].
Day 06: Trek to Landruk [1,430m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 07: Trek to Australian Camp/Thulo Kharka [2,050m] via Pothana [ 5 hrs walk].
Day 08: Trek to Kande & drive to Pokhara. [1 hr walk & 1 hr drive].
Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu. [200k.m - 5-6 hrs drive] or [25 minute flight].

Nepal Dream Path Treks guide will meet you on arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport, and transfer you to your respective Hotel, then Nepal Dream Path Trek's guide will brief you about all necessaries required while doing Poonhill and Ghorepani Trek in Nepal with us including accommodations, service includes/excludes and Trekking, do's and don't s related information.


5-6 hrs drive or 25 minute flight BB plan Hotel/resort

Morning travel by bus or a car to Pokhara on the scenic highway, an interesting drive on the foothills of the Himalaya, on reaching at Pokhara transfer to respective Hotels nearby the Lake Phewa for the overnight stay. We can also use the flight option to reach there from Kathmandu.


1.5 hrs drive and 4 hrs walk All breakfast, lunch, dinner Tea House

A one and half hours morning drive on the highway to Nayapul (new bridge) where Nepal Dream path Treks adventure begins with about 3-4 hours of trekking, the trail passes the busy areas encountering people of all walks of life merchants, traders, locals, trekkers, and mule and donkey trains, then reaching Bhirethati village from here our path diverts following the main trail on the old Trans-Himalayan trade route.

From here trek follows through many farm villages and waterfalls till Tirkhedhuga is reached for the overnight stop.


5-6 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

Morning walk winds up on a steep climb for near 2 hrs on the stone steps to Ulleri village, from Ulleri trail winds up gradually through the cool rain forest for a few hours with few ups and downs, the walk leads nearer to Ghorepani, feeling the altitude and change of vegetation, trekking in the midst of rhododendron woods till Ghorepani village is reached for the overnight stop, offering grand views of Dhaulagiri range of mountains towards the west and Annapurna South in the north.


4-5 hours walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House

Morning 1 hr hike to Pun-Hill 3,210 m for fantastic sunrise over the Himalayan chain of mountains from Dhaulagiri-Annapurna to Mt.Manaslu ranges, After the panoramic views return back to Ghorepani for breakfast, continue trek to the upper ridge of Deurali almost the height as Pun-Hill with awesome scenery of the snow-capped mountains, hills, and valleys, walking in the rhododendron and pine forests, the path narrows downhill through the temperate rain forest, stepper path in some places as you come to Ban that with lodges in the middle of the forest, the trek continues down to a small stream in the middle of the forest, an hour uphill climb reaches to Tadapani, located in the forests of Rhododendron, Magnolia and Oaks. From this place, a grand view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchare (fishtail) can be seen at a close distance. Tadapani with 8-10 lodges a place made by the local Gurung people to serve and cater to the needs of trekkers.

After a wonderful time at Tadapani with super views of the Annapurna and beyond, the walk leads through the enchanting forest with occasional views of the Annapurna mountain range, the walk leads downhill passing through a few small villages till Ghandruk is reached for lunch.

Ghandruk is a major large village in this area and the walk from here is all downhill to the bridge at Phedi for an hour, after crossing the bridge over the raging Modi River, a slow walk uphill for an hour to Landruk for the overnight stop.

After Landruk, the morning walk is pleasant most of the way on the winding path overlooking beautiful landscape scenery and of Annapurna south, the trek leads to the last uphill for an hour at Deural the highest spot of this trip at near 2,210 meters, with panoramic views of the surrounding area, from here walk leads downhill through the forest at a small village Pothana, after this lovely village with views walk leads to a small climb in the forest and then to open area at Thulo Kharka also known as Australian Camp ( in the early 70’s Australian Expeditions on route Annapurna Base Camp camped on this wonderful spot). This small settlement is located in the midst of the cool alpine forest overlooking a grand view of the Annapurna range including the majestic Mt.Machhapuchare (Fish Tail) and the Pokhara Valley.


1 hr walk & 1 hr drive BB Plan Tea House

After a good time here with the great views, the last day walk descends on the gentle winding trail to the road head at Kande here board on the Bus for an hour drive to Pokhara, on reaching at Pokhara within the Phewa Lakeside area, check into the hotel with time for an afternoon stroll.

As per the flight time schedule, this scenic flight reaches you back in Kathmandu on arrival at Kathmandu domestic airport, our staff will meet and transfer you back to the Hotel.


Today as per your international flight time, Nepal Dream Path Treks staff will transfer you to the airport for your final departure from this wonderful high Himalayan country, Nepal with the wonderful memory of the Poonhill panorama and Ghorepani trek with us.
