trip Overview

The remarkable and famous Sikles trek in Nepal on the mid-hills of the great Himalayan range. Sikles trek leads you into the midst of typical traditional Gurung villages. It is an unspoiled area as well as less frequented by Westerners. This is great trekking in the hidden area especially offering spectacular panoramas of the highest 8000m. The trek combines great mountain scenery with incredible cultural diversity.
The Sikles Trek with Nepal Dream Path Treks begins with a scenic flight across the Himalayan Panorama to Pokhara Valley. Pokhara is the second-largest valley of Nepal; here one can witness the magnificent panorama from Mt. Dhaulagiri to the Annapurna range, Lamjung as well as Manaslu in the east. The majestic Mt.Macchhapuchere/Fish Tail stands high towering toward the clear blue sky. Our return journey descends through the lush terraces and reaches Begnas Lake. The valley has relatively fertile soils as can be seen from the intensive use of the terraced hillsides. The day's walk is easy, with a slight altitude gain, then reaching Gurung village of Dhipang or Khairpani for the overnight camp.
