Tamang Heritage with Langtang Trek is one of the newly open treks in Nepal that lies inside the northern part of Kathmandu. This is a cultural trek through Tamang villages in Langtang with its lovely spell-binding perspectives of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang range. On the way, we should see the fantastic panorama view of a mountain, alpine terrain, and rhododendron forest. It is the house for the endangered crimson panda and different wild animals. This splendid adventurous journey starts with the force of Syaprubeshi. After this, the quick circuit trek ends in the village of Briddim through Gatlang, Tatopani, and Thuman. Tatopani is a fantastic location in which you could have a grand possibility to wash in herbal warm springs. Then, heading closer to the spell-binding village of Langtang through the Lama Hotel.

The path follows through a desert course with the surroundings of alpine forests and high-altitude meadows. Moreover, this journey additionally gives lovely perspectives of Nagthali Ghyang, Langtang, Kerung, Ganesh Himal, and Jugal Himal ranges. Then, returned to Dhunche with a memorable journey to Kathmandu with Nepal Dream Path Treks & Expeditions.

A Representative from Nepal Dream Path will meet and welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer you to your Hotel and help you till the check-in procedure ends in Hotel. Nepal Dream Path treks will arrange a meeting or a discussion program to introduce Nepal as well as your daily activities.

At your request, Nepal Dream Path Treks will organize a sightseeing tour around the most interesting places around Kathmandu especially those which are listed on a world heritage site.


7 hrs drive All meals includes- Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner, Tea/Coffee Tea house

Our trekking starts with a 6-7 Hours drive to reach Syabru Beshi, the starting point of Langtang Valley Trek. The road takes a scenic route, climbing high over the ridges to escape the Kathmandu Valley, and provides you with a superb panorama of the Himalayas, including the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and the peaks of the Langtang region that you will soon get familiar with. Stay overnight at a lodge.

After having breakfast in Syabrubesi, we will move on to Gatlang. On the way ascend a viewpoint for an hour and a half for a fantastic view of Ganesh Himal, the Gosainkund range, and the Goljang Valley. Head down to the Goljang Valley (about an hour’s walk) and stop there for lunch. In the afternoon, trek for about three hours to reach Gatlang, a beautiful Tamang village.

Today’s walk begins by descending to Thangbuchet, by a lovely river. After lunch, the trail heads up again, across a hanging bridge and climbing to Tatopani, your stop for the night. The town’s name literally means ‘hot water in Nepali, and there are many towns of this name all over Nepal. Unsurprisingly, here you can enjoy the natural hot springs, with water that comes straight out of the ground. Locals believe that the waters have a healing quality, and they will certainly ease away any aches and pains from the trek.

Today, the trail ascends to Nagthali Danda (3,300 m./ 10,826 ft.), a high, open grassland with amazing views of the Himalayas. Stop at the delightful Brimdang village for lunch en route, then continue up to Nagthali Danda. On arrival, stop for a masala chiya (tea), prepared by the gompa’s caretaker. Then, continue down to Thuman, a Tamang village with friendly people who love to sing and dance. You might even be invited to join in.

Today’s walk begins along a flatter section of trail, then descends to Timure. It follows part of the old trade route to Tibet, and in fact, Tibet is not far away—just three hours’ walk. However, it’s not possible to walk across the border these days, and there’s a heavy police presence along the roads in this area. After lunch, the trail continues to Briddim, another Tamang village, where you’ll stay in a local home for a truly unique experience. All accommodation, lodgings, and food are offered at local houses on a rotational basis, so you can be sure that your stay is benefitting the whole community and not just one or two enterprising families (as is sometimes the case with hotels and lodges).

The first day of Langtang Valley Trek with Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition team starts with Syabru Gaun to Lama Hotel/2,487m this takes about five hours. The trail descends along the ridge on Syabru's main street and then drops to the Ghopche Khola/2050m and again descends to the landslide From then onwards, your trek ascends gently to Rimche/2400m through Bamboo/1960m. On the way, we can see Red Pandas, Monkeys, and their Natural Habits there. Finally, reach to Lama Hotel for the night's stay.

Our trek begins after breakfast. From there, it takes three hours to reach Ghoretabla(Valley popular for Horses and Yaks). Ghoretabla in Nepali means the "Horse-Stable" Trek continues for a few hours on the trail to Langtang village and to its beautiful valley, the walk leads through the alpine forest for an hour, reaching a small stream and then leaving the tree line behind.  From here the trail follows uphill for an hour, then the walks get better on the gradual winding path with few ups and down till Langtang Village is reached for the overnight stay. Finally, we will reach the biggest village in Langtang valley. This place offers the Monasteries, Health posts, and spectacular mountain views of Langtang and Gonchompe.

From this wonderful village, The Langtang village with Nepal Dream Path Treks goes uphill for the first few hours through the prickly Burberry and high alpine shrubs and encountering the "mani-prayer wall" where walking in the clockwise direction is a positive way of respecting the local culture and religion, as our walk leads to farther east the valley opens up and then walking on the grassy meadow with views of numerous snow-capped peaks in the distance. The walk is more pleasant and can be vigorous due to altitude gain as we come to our destination at Kyangin Gompa. Kyangin Gompa, is a scenic charming spot, with peaks looming from all directions, the closest peak that you can see is the Langtang Lirung of over 7,000m and its icefall is just at a leisurely distance from the campsite, Kyangin Gompa, a small monastery located on the top of the ridge formed by glacial moraine of rocks and boulders, within Kyangin Gompa area there are 10-15 lodges and a cheese factory.

After taking a breakfast have an excursion to Tsergo Ri positioned at 5,033m. The climb to Tsergo is quite challenging and demands good physical fitness and a breathtaking view of the highest mountains of the central Himalayas. After spending some moments at Tsergo Ri return to Kyanjin Gompa via the same way and trek for the overnight stop.

After breakfast trek starts to Lama Hotel with a pleasant walk, cross several bridges passing through the village of Langtang, then follow Langtang Khola to reach Ghoratabela. The trail still offers mesmerizing views of mountains, an easy downhill walk of a few hours enjoying the marvelous views of rhododendron to reach Lama Hotel for the overnight stop.

Trek back via the same route up to Land Slide Lodge and follow the Langtang River to Shyabrubesi, situated on the river bank. On the way, you can see waterfalls and bamboo forests.


5 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] tae house

After Breakfast in the morning, we have to move forward to the next destination following the Fop rang Danda, Dursagang, and through the forest. We have to trek for about 4-5 hours to reach Sing Gompa from Syabru and overnight stay.

From Sing Gompa, we will walk down to Dhunche, after morning breakfast which will take about 5 hours. The way comes down through the forest of pine, oak, rhododendron, and many more vegetation and overnight stay.

After breakfast drives back to Kathmandu via Dhunche and Trishuli.
