Yala Peak Climbing (5,520 m) is one of the best adventurous trips in the Himalayan Trek. It is best for those trekkers who wish to stand on the Himalayan summit with less risk. It is suitable for all those adventure lovers who really interested to climb the peak but they don’t have previous climbing experience. Beautiful and serene Yala Peak locates in the heart of the Langtang region. Among the different peaks, Yala Peak climbing is one of the easier Himalayan Trek with low risk and does not require any prior climbing experience. Anyone with general trekking knowledge is fit for this trip. Yala peak Climbing offers to trek through old traditional and cultural villages as well as dense forests. Once you reach Yala Base Camp you can have spectacular mountain views – Langtang Lirung (7,246 m), Lenpo Gang (7,083 m), and many other snow-covered peaks.
Yala Peak summit with Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition team starts after a day’s drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche. Our trek starts steeply up for 4-5 days with the thick forest of Blooming Rhododendron, oaks, Pine, and Bamboos. Beautiful view of Langtang valley, narrow Georges of Langtang River, alpine grassland of Kyangjing Gompa; Acclimatization on Langtang valley as well as the hike to Tsergo-Ri/4985m is the major attractions till reach Yala Base Camp. Then the next day at Yala Base Camp, you will summit the Yala peak with our well-experienced guide. They will guide you to use essential tools such as ice axe, crampons, ropes, harnesses, etc.

A very warm welcome to you to the beautiful city of Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, our representative from Nepal Dream path receives you at Tribhuvan airport and Transfers you to the Hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. In the afternoon, we organize a welcome dinner and inform you of all the necessary information you need to have during your stay in Nepal. We introduce you to all the individuals that are going to be part of this trek. Overnight at Hotel.
On the first day or night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed regarding the time for your sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest.

Our trekking starts with a 5-6 hours drive to Dhunche, the starting point of the Yala Peak Climbing trek. The road takes a scenic route, climbing high over the ridges to escape the Kathmandu Valley, and provides you a superb panorama of the Himalayas, including the Annapurnas, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and the peaks of the Langtang region that you will soon get familiar with. Stay overnight at a lodge at Dhunche.

We start our trek from Dhunche after having morning breakfast. The trail heads towards Syabrubesi with the village of Thulo Bharkhu, the starting point of the trek. We walk through the forest of oaks and pines and terraced hill slopes, descending to the ridgeline. We continue our trek walking along an easy trail with a glimpse of Ganesh Himal(7422m), Langtang Lirung(7245m), and the beautiful valley of Langtang. We head up to the ridge of the beautiful village of Thulo Syabru, inhabited by the Tamang ethnic community where we can visit the permit checkpoint for registration. We overnight stay at a tea house.

We start our trek after having breakfast at Thulo Syabrubesi. The trail descends along the ridge and drops to Langtang Khola. Then, we ascend towards Rimche via Bamboo through the bamboo forest where we will get the chance to catch sight of secretive and shy animals like red panda, monkey, and black bear. From Rimche, the trail ascends a little bit and descends to the village of Lama Hotel. Overnight stay at tea house there.

Our trek starts after having breakfast. From there, it takes three hours to reach Ghoretabla(Valley popular for Horses and Yaks). Ghoretabla in Nepali means the "Horse-Stable" Trek continues for a few hours on the trail to Langtang village and to its beautiful valley, the walk leads through the alpine forest for an hour, reaching a small stream and then leaving the tree line behind. From here the trail follows uphill for an hour, then the walks get better on the gradual winding path with few ups and down till Langtang Village is reached for the overnight stay. Finally, reach the biggest village of Langtang valley. the place offers Monasteries, Health posts, and spectacular mountain views of Langtang and Gonchompe.

From this wonderful village, The Langtang village with Nepal Dream Path Treks goes uphill for the first few hours through the prickly Burberry and high alpine shrubs and encountering the "mani-prayer wall" where walking in the clockwise direction is a positive way of respecting the local culture and religion, as our walk leads to farther east the valley opens up and then walking on the grassy meadow with views of numerous snow-capped peaks in the distance. The walk is more pleasant and can be vigorous due to altitude gain as we come to our destination at Kyangin Gompa. Kyangin Gompa, is a scenic charming spot, with peaks looming from all directions, the closest peak that you can see is the Langtang Lirung of over 7,000m, and its icefall is just at a leisurely distance from the campsite, Kyangin Gompa, a small monastery located on the top of the ridge formed by glacial moraine of rocks and boulders, within Kyangin Gompa area there are 10-15 lodges and a cheese factory.

After having breakfast, we have an excursion to Tsergo Ri positioned at 5,033m. The climb to Tsergo-Ri is quite challenging and demands good physical fitness and a breathtaking view of the highest mountains of the central Himalayas. After spending some moments at Tsergo Ri returned to Kyanjin Gompa via the same path for the overnight stop.

Today is the big day for us that we are going to climb Yala Peak. We gradually ascend all the way to the base camp following the trail over the glacier. We have fabulous and breathtaking views of Yala Peak, Langtang Lirung, and other surrounding snow-capped high peaks during the trek. When we reach the base camp, we set up the camp quickly and make necessary checks on our health and the climbing gear for the successful summit of Yala peak.

Today is the big day for summiting Yala peak. We will start our trek early in the morning properly equipped because in the afternoon strong winds can create obstacles making it impossible to climb. The last 700 meters of the trail will require rope and we use crampons and a walking axe. At the summit of Yala Peak, we are rewarded with the breathtaking views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang Peak, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung, and many Tibetan mountains. We will spend some time at the summit and return back to the base camp following the same trail.

After the great success of the summit of Yala Peak, we will retrace our journey following the same trail that passes through Kangjin Gompa. We will continue our journey until we reach the village of Langtang. Overnight stay at tea house there.

After having morning breakfast at Langtang village, we retrace our steps on the main trail towards Ghoratabela. The trail still offers mesmerizing views of mountains, an easy downhill walk of a few hours enjoying the marvelous views of rhododendron, oaks, birch, and Himalayan bamboos to reach Lama Hotel for the overnight stay.
6-7 hrs walk All meals includes- Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner, Tea/Coffee Tea House
Trek back via the same route up to Land Slide Lodge and follow the Langtang River to Shyabrubesi, situated on the river bank. On the way, you can see waterfalls and bamboo forests.

After having morning breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu via Dhunche. we will have lunch at Trishuli. After having lung 4 hours drive we will reach Kathmandu and Overnight stay.
This is a leisure day for personal activities to buy something or to go around Kathmandu. this is the second last day, so, Nepal Dream Path Team explores a Kathmandu valley at your request.
Today as per your international flight time, Nepal Dream Path Treks staff will transfer you to the airport for your flight homeward bound after a wonderful and memorable time in Nepal with Nepal Dream Path Treks.
