The Ganesh Himal Base Camp trek is categorized as a moderate-level trek. This camp is situated on the north side of the capital city Kathmandu, which is between Langtang Valley and Manaslu massif. The Ganesh Himal trek presents you with the embarrassment of flora as well as fauna that abounds in Nepal.

On arrival at Kathmandu Airport, meet our Nepal Dream Path Treks staff for transportation to respective hotels. 6-7 hrs drive All breakfast, lunch, dinner Tea House
Our journey starts after having breakfast, heading towards Arughat by private transport. We cross the Kathmandu valley and follow along the Trishuli River. We will cross the Trishuli River through the bridge, pass through the dense forest, and reach the huge, beautiful village called Arughat, which lies at the edge of the beautiful river Budhi Gandaki. Overnight stay there.
4-5 hrs walk All breakfast, lunch, dinner Tea House
After having breakfast, we will move to the west side of the Budhi Gandaki River, which passes many small shops with small villages, and meet the children going to school, and reach the beautiful little village of Soti Khola, the place where the Budhi Gandaki River meets. We will stay at the Tea House of Soti Khola overnight.
5-6 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
The very next morning, we will hike through the pass of the suspension bridge of Soti Khola. On the way, we will pass through the beautiful jungle, some villages, and some coffee lands. This trek goes along the Budhi Gandaki riverbank to the beautiful village of Machha Kholagaun. Machha kholagau is the meeting area of the Machha Khola and Budhi Gandaki rivers and is very famous for fresh fish. You can get traditional foods with fresh fish curry here as you wish at dinner. Overnight stay there.
6-7 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House
After having breakfast, we will start our hike to Jagat. We will walk along the bank of the Budhi Gandaki River and pass the beautiful, charming village of Tatopani, where you can get the chance of bathing in a natural hot spring. After the continuous walk on the riverbank of Budhi Gandaki, we reach Dobhan, and the trails continue to the north until we reach Jagat, the place of the stone flag street. We will stay overnight there.
5-6 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House
This trail is restricted to the Manaslu region and the Tsum Valley, and we need to have a permit to enter them. When a guide shows us our route permit at Jagat, then we can start our hike along the riverbank of the Budhi Gandaki River. We ascend and descend with the beautiful scenario and pass through the suspension bridge. We will reach the village of Philim. The trail passes the beautiful forest and hillsides only. The trail continues and ascends towards the beautiful village of Lokpa. We can feel isolated when we reach Lokpa due to the view of the hillsides only. Overnight stay there.

The trail is quite silent, and it is a little bit tough too. So we have to carry the energy bar on this trail. Through the passes of the silent tropical forest, we sometimes ascend and sometimes descend until we cross the small suspension bridge. The trail passes small stone walls, and some tea house also, and reaches Chhumling. From the upper side of the village, we can see the Buddhist Monastery and the beautiful panoramic scene of Ganesh Himal.

The trek is quite long and ascends mostly. Don't forget to carry an energy bar. The trek heading to Chhokung Paro. We can see the fabulous view of the Ganesh Himal range, Baudha, and Himalchuli peaks from Chhokung Paro. The trail continuously ascends towards Lamagaun with the beautiful view of mountains, terrace lands and fields, and streams. We get a warm welcome from the local people and get a chance to see their Tibetan cultures. We can see the polyandry system there.

From Lamagaun, the trail gradually ascends to Mu Gumpa, the largest monastery in this region. We pass lots of mani walls and chortens on the trail. To pass the trail, we shouldn't forget to bring energy bars. We can see the beautiful panoramic views of mountains such as Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, the Langtang Glacier, and many more. Overnight stay at Mu Gumpa.

From Mu Gompa, the trek starts to Rachhen Gompa after having our morning breakfast. Rachen Gompa is the largest nunnery of the Tsum Valley, located at the foothill of the mountains bordering Nepal and Tibet. After the visit to this nunnery, the trail leads to Chhokung Paro, where we will stay overnight.

Today's trial is quite long; don't forget to bring an energy bar. The trail starts at the beautiful village of Domje. The trail descends to Gho in 3 hours and continues to Domje through a narrow path. We would take lunch there and hike towards Domje. The trail is narrow and zigzag steep to Langdang Khola and ascends to the Gompa. We can greet the teachers or nuns from the Gumba where we can get permission to visit the Gumbas. From there, we can see the panoramic views of the mountains esp. Ganesh Himal.
4-5 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House
The day is the main day trip for every trekker. After having breakfast, the trail goes through the forest up to Langdang Khola. After that, we will hike towards Torogumba Glacier and the Ganesh Himal Base Camp. We will stay overnight at the tent there.
4-5 hrs walk All meals during trek ( breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House
After the wonderful stay at Ganesh Himal Base Camp, we will hike back to Domje. The hike goes towards Torogumba Glacier and to Langdang Khola. We will pass the beautiful forest, terrace lands, and the great scene with the narrow, steep path, and overnight stay at Domje.

The trail descends towards Landang Khola, and we will cross this with a swing bridge and pass through the forest. We will reach Ripchet after crossing another swing bridge, from where we can take the picture as we wish. We can pass the fertile land of barley and buckwheat on the trail. The trek descends with the loose steep path and crosses the river again and ascends towards Lokpa via the pristine temperate forest.

The trail gradually descends to Philim, where we can stay for lunch. After lunch, we descend to the Budi Gandaki River and cross it on the suspension bridge. The trail passes lots of up and down hills on the riverbank of the Budhi Gandaki River and reaches Jagat. We will stay overnight there.

Today, the trail descends through the small village and crosses the Yaru Khola through the suspension bridge, and we reach Dhoban. We will stay there for a rest. After that, the trail descends the ridge of Dohan Danda and reaches the Budhi Gandaki River, which is crossed by the suspension bridge. From there, we will hike towards Tatopani. The trail gradually descends to Machha Khola Village via Khorla Beshi. From here, the tail is minor up and down and reaches Lopu Beshi. We stay there for the night.

This day is the final day of our trek. The trail mostly descends through the beautiful terrace fields and steep rocky till the Budhi Gandaki River. Then we will pass the trail along the riverbank of Budhi Gandaki, sometimes up and down, along with the beautiful Saal forest, till Soti Khola. We cross the river through the bridge and hike towards Arughat Bazar via Arkhet Bazar. During the trial, we pass uphills and downhills, a beautiful forest full of monkeys, beautiful terrace fields, pretty waterfalls, and several charming villages. We will stay overnight at Arughat Bazar.
7 hrs drive BB Plan Hotel/Resort
Drive back to Kathmandu. After having breakfast, we will drive towards Kathmandu by private transport and transfer to the respected hotel.
This day is a leisure day and you are free for personal activities and for shopping at Thamel. If you need more extra trek on this day our guide is ready for your request and help you. Otherwise, you can enjoy this leisure day as your wish in Kathmandu.
This is the final day and we will give a great farewell to all of our clients with the best wishes for the future and transfer you to the airport for your departure.
