Hey, are you willing to do an adventurous Everest Base camp trek but unsure due to time constraints? We offer you a short yet perfect trek around the highest altitudes of the world, the Everest region. This trek, undoubtedly, is a perfect opportunity to have an up-close glimpse of the mighty Mt. Everest and the mountain ranges around Everest. Furthermore, it provides a chance to experience cultural, natural, and traditional facts of the Khumbu region by walking around Sagarmatha national park. This is a famous trekking destination as it takes us to Namche Bazaar, the mighty viewpoint of Kala Patthar, the backyard of Sherpa villages, large Buddhist monasteries, and Sherpa Museums.
Our trek to Everest starts with a short and scenic flight to the small town Lukla from the ancient city Kathmandu. From there, passing through beautiful forests, and terraces we will trek to the beautiful village of Phakding. Our next destination will be Namche Bazaar. Namche is the main trading center of the Khumbu region with few Nepalese officials, and banks with good facilities for food and accommodations. Furthermore, we will trek to the Tengboche monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Our next destination is the beautiful Himalayan village of Dingboche, the last village on this trek. Finally, from Dingboche we will trek to your dream destination, Everest Base Camp passing through small teahouse stops like Lobuche and Gorakshep.
In addition, we can witness four (Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Cho-Oyu) of the top 6 highest mountains in the world. We will get to experience authentic Himalayan cuisines and lifestyles of Himalayan peoples too. Sagarmatha National Park is the home of many endangered animals like Red Panda, Musk Deer, Snow Leopards, Himalayan Tahr, etc.
This is a short trek yet gives you an experience of a lifetime. Also, you will get to stretch your personal endurance beyond your thought possible. Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu [1,340m] and Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding [2,650m].
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar [3,440m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 04: Rest Day at Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche [3,867m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 06: Trek to Dingboche [4,358m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 07: Trek to Lobuche [4,928m] [5 hrs walk].
Day 08: Trek to Gorakshep [5,160m] - Everest Base Camp [5,357m] – Trek back to Gorakshep
Day 09: Trek to Kalapatthar [5644m] & Fly back to Lukla.
Day 10: Fly Lukla-Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel.
Day 11: Transfer to Airport for International departure.
Detail Itinerary
30min drive BB Plan Hotel/Resort
A very warm welcome to you in the beautiful city of Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, our representative from Nepal Dream path will receive you at Tribhuvan International airport and transfer you to the Hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. In the afternoon, we will inform you of all the necessary information you need to have during your stay in Nepal. We will introduce you to all the individuals that are going to be part of this Everest Base Camp Short Trek. Overnight stay at Hotel.
40min flight & 3 hours walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea-House
In the morning, our representative will transfer you to the domestic airport and then will have a short and scenic flight to Lukla. There you will meet our guide and the porters and will have a certain time to explore Lukla. After spending some quality time in Lukla, 2-3 hours of trek will leads us to Phakding, a beautiful settlement located at the edge of a beautiful Dudh Koshi River. On the way to Phakding, you can witness an offering view of Mt. Kusum-Kanguru (6369m). Overnight stay at Phakding.
5-6 hours walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea-House
From Phakding, we will continue along the bank of the Dudh Koshi River. After crossing this river twice via a small suspension bridge, a short uphill and downhill hike takes us to Monjo village, the doorway of Solukhumbu National Park. We will continue upward on steeply Namche hill passing through the small settlement of Jorsalle towards Namche Bazaar. After a trek of 5-6 hours from Phakding, we will reach Namche Bazaar.
A must-needed rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization. Namche Bazaar is a Tibetan Trading town and headquarters of Sagarmatha National Park which has government offices, internet cafes, restaurants, ATMs, etc. A panoramic view spot, at top of Namche Bazaar with surrounding snow-capped mountains like Mt. Everest, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam. You can also visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery which helps you to get natural and historical information related to floras and faunas, peoples, and places of the Everest region. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.
5-6 hours walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea-House
Today, we will follow the gradual trail with a few ups and downs with views of great snow peaks like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. A pleasant walk through the beautiful rhododendron forest will lead us to the small settlement of Phungitenga located at the bank of the Dudhkoshi River. After having lunch at Phungitenga, we will continue our Everest Base Camp Short trek uphill for about two hours to Tengboche. Tengboche is a center of the Buddhist culture of the Everest area located at the lap of probably the most beautiful mountain of Nepal, Mt. Ama Dablam.

From Tengboche, we will walk on a trail descending to Dingboche passing through forests, and crossing several suspension bridges over Imja Khola. Then, we will continue on steep uphill all the way to Dingboche passing through beautiful Sherpa village-like Pangboche. Dingboche is a small settlement of Himalayan peoples doing business. It is also known as ‘Summer Valley’ from where you can enjoy the jaw-dropping view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, etc.
8 hours All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea-House
Today is the most exciting and the most anticipated day of this Everest Base Camp Short trek as we will head to Gorakshep, visit Everest Base Camp and trek back to Gorakshep. In the beginning, the trail will be gradual up to the valley; at the end of the grassy field; from there the trail follows the rocky moraine path, with views of glacial ponds and icebergs of the Khumbu glacier. From the last moraine, a short downhill reaches Gorakshep located on the flat field below Kalapatthar. On reaching Gorakshep, a trek of almost 3 hours leads us to your dream destination, Everest Base Camp. From EBC, you can witness majestic Mt. Everest along with glaciers and Khumbu icefall. Spending a few hours exploring EBC and capturing the moment with Everest on cameras, we will trek back to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.
2-3 hours walk & 20 min flight All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea-House
In the early morning, we will hike to Kalapatthar aiming to witness the view of sunrise amidst Mt. Everest. Kalapatthar is the best vantage point that offers a panoramic view of the entire Everest massif. From Kalapatthar, we will have a short yet scenic flight over Everest massif towards Lukla for an overnight stay.
20 min flight BB Plan Hotel/Resort
After a night at Lukla, We will fly back to Kathmandu in the morning enjoying the panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains and remembering and rewinding all the great moments of the trek. Our team will receive you at the Katmandu Air terminal and will transfer you to Hotel. You can utilize your remaining time shopping and enjoying the town. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
Today is the day you say goodbye to the country of Mt. Everest. You can enjoy your last moments in Nepal. According to your flight time, our representative will transfer you to the International airport for your final departure. Farewell and have a safe journey back home.
