Everest Short Trek is one of the best treks in Nepal. Those people who don’t have much time can be effective on this trek. This trek is visited from around the world as it is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. Here, we can see the world’s highest mountain on our trek and it is an amazing outdoor activity in Nepal. Every year the highest number of people come to see Mt. Everest.
The Everest short trek starts with a short and scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla with Nepal Dream Path Treks Team. The thrilling flight to Namche Bazar is a perfect start beautifully decorated by the jaw-dropping views of the unique landscapes and sky-high mountains. After moving from Lukla, we will get introduced to Sherpa villages, monasteries, forests, and terraces, with spectacular views of mountains like Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tabouche, and many more. Also, we will taste what it’s like to trek in the Everest region. There were also so many charming villages which are Phakding, Manju, Namche, Tengboche, Khumjung, etc. After this great journey, we will trek to Lukla and back to Kathmandu. Then you can explore the heritage sites in Kathmandu.
Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour around world heritage sites of Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla [2,800m] and Trek to Phakding [2,650m] [45min flight & 3-4 hrs walk].
Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche [3,450m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 05: Acclimation day at Namche.
Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tengboche Monastery [3,870m] [4-5 hrs walk].
Day 07: Trek from Tengboche monastery to Monjo [2,440m] [5-6 hrs walk].
Day 08: Trek from Manjo to Lukla [4-5 hrs walk].
Day 09: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, and free for personal activities at Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure.

Nepal Dream Path Treks guide will meet you on arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your respective Hotels. Our guide will brief you about all necessaries required while doing Everest Short Trek in Nepal with us including accommodations, service includes/excludes, and Trekking, do's, and don't s related information.

On the first day in Kathmandu, you will be well informed regarding the time for your sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest.

45m fly & 3 hrs walk All meals on the trek (breakfast, lunch, dinner) Tea House
In the morning domestic airport board the small twin otter or similar plane for the scenic flight to Lukla. On arrival meet our staff At Lukla, you will have time to visit around. While the Sherpa crew sort and divide the load, lunch depending upon the time of arrival either in Lukla or a few hours treks further on route to Phakding. The first-day trek on the gradual path all the way, with few ups offering views of Mt. Kusum-Kangru 6,369 m 2-3 hrs of gradual walk brings you to Phakding village for the overnight stop.
4-5 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
From Phakding on crossing the bridge over the River Dudh-Kosi, the walk is pleasant with a few short uphill and downhill and re-crossing the same river again, with a magnificent view of Thermasarkhu 6,608m, reaching Monjo village. After Monjo, walk to the entrance gate of Sagarmatha National Park. From there a short descent with a gradual walk to Jorsalle village, the last village till Namche Bazaar. We continue with a pleasant walk on the river bed till the last bridge over the Imjatse River. From here trek along the winding uphill path all the way to Namche Bazaar, with grand views of Kwande peak, Kusum Kanguru & Mt. Everest with Nuptse wall, Lhotse, and the closer view of Taweche peak can be seen all the way up. Another hour walk up reaches Namche Bazaar, the colorful houses are situated in amphitheater landscapes.
A rest day with a short walk for acclimatization to Sagarmatha National Park Headquarters. A panoramic view spot on top of Namche Bazaar with surrounding snow-capped mountains, valleys scenery visit the museum with all kinds of information history of Himalaya, Geography, Culture, Mountaineering and on flora and fauna of this region. Overnight at Tea-house.
5-6 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
This is the day to trek to Tengboche Monastery (Thyangboche or Dawa Choling Gompa) which is one of the largest monasteries in the Khumbu region. Here the trekkers can see the Tibetan Buddhist monastery which is located in the Khumbu valley. Overnight at Tengboche Monastery.
5-6 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
Retrace the journey back to Shanasha, where the trail from Khumjung, Gokyo, and Namche joins. From here the route follows the main busy path, as the walk winds all the way to Namche Bazaar. On reaching Namche Bazaar retrace the journey back to Monjo for the overnight camp at Monjo, located just near the Sagarmatha National Park entrance and exit gate.
4-5 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
After morning breakfast, Our route takes us along the banks of the Dudh Khosi river. Then, we climb uphill for an hour to reach Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.

Today we fly back to Kathmandu. When the weather is clear, the early morning views from the plane are some of the most inspiring you'll ever experience and the trekkers will have some hours to do their personal activities.
Today as per your international flight time, Nepal Dream Path Treks staff will transfer you to the airport for your final departure from this wonderful high Himalayan country, Nepal with the wonderful memory of Everest short Trek.
