Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition offers 10 Days of Gosainkunda Chisapani Trek which is very exciting, as well as short and sweet trek in Langtang region. The trail leads up to Gosaikunda Lake exploring different five holy lakes.

It is also a very popular religious place for Hinduism and Shamanism. On the day of Janai Purnima, a huge number of people from all over Nepal as well as from India visit this place. Hinduism believes that on this day, by taking a bath in the holy lake Gosaikunda and wearing Janai for religious merits (Punya in Sanskrit). The trail provides wonderful views of Rhododendrons, pine forests, and different kinds of Vegetation as well as spectacular views of Annapurna, Manaslu,  Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Mahalangur Himalayan range, and lots of other snow-covered peaks. Gosainkunda Lake is inside Langtang National Park, every year on the occasion of Janai Purnima (July- August) there will be a fair in this area, and lots of pilgrimages and trekkers trekking here during that time.

The Trek starts after the drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche. The trail continues to Gosaikunda through Sing Gompa. The word Sing Gompa refers to ‘Sing’ means ‘wood’ and ‘Gompa’ means ‘Monastery’. The popular Monastery at Sing Gompa contains its values.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing around the world heritage sites of Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive to Dhunche [1,950m] [6-7 hrs Drive]
Day 04: Dhunche to Sing Gompa [3,254m] [4-5 hrs walk]
Day 05: Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda [4,336m] [5-6 hrs walk]
Day 06: Gosaikunda to Ghopte [2,680m] [7-8 hrs walk]
Day 07: Ghopte to Kutumsang [2,470m] [7-8 hrs walk]
Day 08: Kutumsang to Chisapani [2,200m] [6-7 hrs walk]
Day 09: Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu [3-4 hrs walk & 45 minutes drive]

Detail Itinerary

30m drive BB Plan Hotel/Resort

A Representative member from Nepal Dream Path will meet and welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport transfer you to your Hotel and help you till the check-in procedure ends in the Hotel. Nepal Dream Path treks will arrange a meeting or a discussion program to introduce Nepal as well as your daily activities.


10am - 4pm BB Plan Hotel/Resort

At your request, Nepal Dream Path Treks will organize a sightseeing tour around the most interesting places around Kathmandu especially those which are listed in the world heritage site.


7 hrs drive All meals includes- Breakfast, Lunch,Dinner, Tea/Coffee Tea house

In the morning after breakfast, we will move from the hotel to continue the trek. The journey pass through the hilly winding road along with the Trishuli River. On the way to Dhunche, we see the great view of rivers, forests, and terraced fields. Dhunche is the district headquarters of Rasuwa district and "Langtang National Park" as well, Overnight stay at Dhunche.


5 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

From Dhunche, after the morning breakfast our trek starts, we will follow the gradual uphill trail along the bamboo & Oak forest, pass the village of Deurali and reach Sing Gompa. It has a very famous monastery, so this place has great religious fame in the whole region. Overnight stay there.


5 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

After Morning breakfast, we would pass the village of Chandanbari and Cholangpati along with the gradual hill, we trek to Laurebina. From Laurebina, our trail leads us to Gosainkunda walking for about 2-3 hours and Overnight staying at Gosainkunda.


7 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

Today in the morning after breakfast we will hike to Lauribina pass which is the highest point of our entire trek and full of panoramic Mountain views then our trail goes down towards the village of Ghopte, passing a small human settlement. Overnight stay at Ghopte.


7 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

Today after breakfast we make another pass of Thadepati and continue our trek to the downhill trail. Among the many scattered human settlements, Mangengoth is a big one. Passing the green forest we will reach the village of Kutumsang. overnight stop there.


6 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House

After breakfast in the morning,  the trail leads us down all the way to Chisapani through the green forest of oak and rhododendron. Chisapani is an amazing hill station that is known for spectacular sunrise views. Overnight stay at Chisapani.


4 hrs walk & 45m drive BB Plan Hotel/Resort

After breakfast in the morning, we will walk about 3-4 hours downhill trek to Sundarijal along with the dense forest of Shivapuri national park. After arriving at Sundarijal, we will drive back to Kathmandu and shift to your hotel to have a farewell dinner.


Today is the last day in Nepal and our staff will drop you at the airport at the time of your flight. We ensure that you will leave Kathmandu with a lifetime memory from this trip with Nepal Dream Path Treks.
