Annapurna short trek is one of the ideal and sweet treks for trekkers to the Annapurna region. There is no risk on this trek of getting altitude sickness so this trek can be done by the individual as well as family and kids. It offers you dramatic scenery and can be walked throughout the year.
Annapurna short trek with Nepal Dream Path Treks starts with a short drive from the famous tourist place, Pokhara. Then we drive to Nayapool where we can experience the lifestyle of the rural areas like Ghandruk, Landruk, and others. We mostly found Gurung & Magar caste people in this village. In this region, trekkers can witness decent views of high mountains such as; Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, and many other snow-covered peaks. This trek also allows us to see the wonderful charming villages, rhododendron forest great hills, and rivers, along with some other mountain peaks as well.
This trek offers you to have a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley where we can find seven world heritage sites before trekking. After this, you will take to Pokhara, One of the beautiful places in Nepal. You can do rafting, boating, sightseeing and many more. Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and Transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing of World Heritage Sites.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara Evening free for sightseeing or boating at Fewa Lake [5-6 hrs drive or 25 min flight]
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool [1,070m] & Trek to Ghandruk [1,940m] [1 & half hrs drive & 5 hrs walk].
Day 05: Trek from Ghandruk to Landruk [1,565m] [4-5 hrs walk].
Day 06: Trek from Landruk to Australian camp [2165] [6-7 hrs walk].
Day 07: Hike to Kande and drive to Pokhara [1 hr walk & 1 hr Drive].
Day 08: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 09: Final Departure.

Nepal Dream Path Treks staff will meet you on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and help you to transfer the hotel and until the check-in procedure ends at Hotel. We arrange a meeting or discussion program which includes your daily schedule of Annapurna Short Trek and brief introduction and rules and regulations regarding the Trip in Nepal.
On the first day or night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed regarding the time for your sightseeing tour in Kathmandu at places of interest.

6 hrs drive or 25 min fly] BB Plan Lake view request/Others)
Morning travel by bus or a car to Pokhara on the scenic highway, an interesting drive on the foothills of the Himalaya, on reaching Pokhara transfer to respective Hotels nearby the Phewa Lake for the overnight stay.
1/2 hrs drive & 5 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
After breakfast, our journey leads from Pokhara to Nayapul by 1-hour drive. Nayapul is the starting point for this Annapurna Short Trek. From Nayapul our journey starts with smooth and popular trekking trail with the fantastic view of Mountains. After half an hour straight road, our journey reaches to Birethanti, from here - cross the Modi River and follow the uphill trail to Ghandruk. Ghadruk is a unique cultural village from where we can see excellent views of Mount Machhapuchre(fishtail), Annapurna South and Himchuli. Dinner and Overnight stay at Ghandruk.
3-4 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
After breakfast, we will follow the steeply down stone made trail. Until reach to Modi River, virtual paths are downwards. On the way, we cross many charming villages, Beehive, rice terraces, etc. After crossing the Modi River the trail dramatically gradually up till reach the Landruk Village. Both of the prosperous villages are equally important for Gurung culture. Most of the Gurungs in that village are farmers and they grow potato, corn, millet, and lots of other vegetables.
6-7 hrs walk All meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Tea/Coffee] Tea House
After having morning breakfast, our journey begins with a wonderful sunrise view over the Himalayas. The trail passes many villages like Tolka, Bhaisi Kharka, Durali, and Potana. In this day, Deurali is the panoramic viewpoint from where we can see the spectacular mountain views. The trail goes uphill until reach to Deurali, after this the trails goes downhill and reach to Potana then after some minutes of walk, we will reach Australian Camp. Dinner and overnight stay at Australian Camp.
1 hr walk & 1 hr Drive BB Plan Hotel/Resort
The last day of Annapurna short trek will reach you to Kande after few hours of hiking. The trail provides extra pleasure with scenic views, charming villages, and local lifestyle. From Kande, you will drive to Pokhara. Evening time you are free for boating at Phewa Lake or personal activities.
6-7 hrs drive BB plans hotel
After the morning breakfast, your guide will take you to the Pokhara airport for the scenic flight to Kathmandu. On your interest, there is also the alternative way to return back to Kathmandu by public bus or private car from Pokhara. On your arriving at Kathmandu, you will drop to your respective hotel. Evening joins with farewell dinner program organized by Nepal Dream Path Treks especially for you.
Today as per your international flight time, Nepal Dream Path Treks staff will transfer you to the airport for your final departure from this wonderful high Himalayan country, Nepal with the memory of Annapurna short and sweet Trek with Nepal Dream Path Team

This was my third time trekking with Nepal Dream Path and it did not disappoint. The weather wasn’t too kind to us so we had to make several changes of plan. Each time DP made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible and indeed other groups had more difficulties.
