Trekking Tourism
A trek is a long adventurous journey undertaken on foot in areas where common means of transport are generally not available. Trekking should not be confused in mountaineering. In north America trekking equivalent is bag packing while New Zealand people use the word as tramping. But the word or term is derived from Afrikaans word trek which means pull. Travel trekking is popular in Himalayan routes and are famous for attracting a large number of trekkers. some of the famous trekking region in Nepal are Annapurna, Everest, Dolpo, Lang tang, Manaslu and Kanchenjunga.
