Dhaulagiri Base Camp 2019 Camping Trek

Trekking is a form of walking, undertaken with the specific purpose of exploring and enjoying the scenery. It usually consists of a series of ascents and descents walking 5 to 8 hours per day on average with a guide, cook and porters and on some occasions, pack animals. Trekking is the best way to experience Nepal’s beauty either on beaten trails or off the beaten path. A trekking route will often pass through forests of rhododendron, bamboo, oak, and hemlock, visiting one or two villages each day.

Dhaulagiri Base Camp Trek is one of the most strenuous treks but it gives trekkers the lifetime experience. Nepal Dream Path Treks and Expedition had just completed Dhaulagiri Base Camp Trek 18 days trek. We do Camping Trek with two Indian. We start our trek from Pokhara and also end in Pokhara. Although we have many difficulties during our trek we handle it smoothly. We Pass through forests of rhododendron, bamboo, oak and visiting at least two villages each day. We cross two high passes, The French pass 5240m as well as the Thapa Pass 5155m. After crossing French pass, we reach to the hidden snow valley which gives you the taste of the White world. After the hidden valley, the trail goes to Kaligandaki Valley via Dhampus pass and to Marpha. We were walked through glacier which gave us extra feels competing with others treks. This trek allows trekkers to have a lifetime experience leading through French pass to World’s deepest gorge of Kali Gandaki Valley.  

Places to visit outside Kathmandu Valley

Dhulikhel

It is one of the scenic and ancient towns situated 30 km east of Kathmandu. Araniko Highway and B.P. Highway pass through this area. From here anyone can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges from east to west.


Namo Buddha

It is a beautiful place situated on a hill above Panauti. The place is very quiet and pure where people do their meditation. There is an amazing story concerned with the life of Buddha. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset views from here.

Nagarkot

This place is a beautiful hill station which is situated 32 km east of Kathmandu. It is an outstanding hilltop. It offers great views of the Himalayas and impressive viewing spot of sunrise and sunset.

Pokhara

Pokhara is the second most popular touristic destination in Nepal. The most impressive view is the fishtailed pinnacle of Mt. Machhapuchhare and the Phewa lake. It is the gateway for the popular trek to the Annapurna region. You will find many activities to do in Pokhara.

Chitwan

It is known for the largest and beautiful national park which is located to the south from Kathmandu. It has wide variety of wildlife offering beautiful flora and fauna and jungle activities. Everyone can see endangered species like one-horned rhinos, leopard, and crocodile in the national park.

Lumbini

Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. it is located in southern Nepal, near the Indian border. it is a sacred place for Buddhists from all over the world, standing on an equal footing with holy places sacred to other world religions.

Manakamana Temple

The temple of Manakamana is a very popular pilgrimage site in Nepal, lies 125 km west from Kathmandu. It is a temple of Durga Bhawani (Hindu goddess). Many devotees stand in a line for even 7-8 hours during festivals. A cable car is also available to visit this temple.

Climb Mt. Everest

Mount Everest is the tallest and the most famous mountain in the world. Many adventure lovers from all around the world come to Nepal for Everest Trek. Every year more than 500 people reach the summit of Everest. In 1953 it was first conquered by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hilary.

The height of Mount Everest is 8,848 m which is the world tallest mountain. It stands between Nepal and Tibet.
How to reach there?
Most people climb Mt. Everest from the Nepal side rather than Tibet. You should take a flight from Kathmandu domestic airport to Lukla. Most of the people spend days there in the spring, acclimating to the altitude with rest and day hikes, waiting for the clear route to Everest’s summit to open in May.


Extreme altitude problem to the body
The area above 8,000 m is called the death zone because of its thin air and the brutal weather. As you go high you feel less oxygen and difficult to breath which may cause death also. So to be aware of altitude you should take supplemental oxygen. High altitude can create a lack of muscle control, Headaches, Snow blindness, hypothermia, etc.

Settlement
Mostly Sherpas people live in this area and they establish themselves as the world-famous high altitude climbers. They help the people who came for the Summit.

Lower Dolpo Trekking

Lower Dolpo Trekking is one of the wonderful treks which give an opportunity to observe traditional cultural system in far-west Dolpo region of Nepal to its visitors. Through the valley of suli Gad, you will cross the beautiful forests of Pine and Juniper. The trail continues above a gorge with a waterfall until Buddhist Ringmo village. After this tiny village you will get to the Shey Phoksundo national Park where we spend some time and admire the beauty and transparency of the bluish water of the Phoksundo Lake.

Dhaulagiri Round Trekking 2019

A remote and challenging trek for the more adventurous walker circling Dhaulagiri, the seventh Highest mountain in the world. This magnificent peak rises as a giant shoulder of shining ice and snow. Dhaulagiri region is rarely visited and the valleys and villages surrounding it are unspoiled and unchanged for generations. The trail takes us across the Kali Gandaki river to its base camp we come to the high point of our trek, the traverse of French Pass (5360m), the hidden valley and Dhampus pass (5182m) a high level route.

Mustang Trek (Upper-Mustang)

Mustang Trek is an adventureous trek in the different type of geographical structures giving you a lifetime experience. The name ‘Mustang’ refers to the remote and arid Tibet like region. It is located at the northern end of the Kali Gandaki, lying beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The structure of this site describes the natural diversity of Nepal.
